NOTICE OF MEETING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE NEDERLAND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION WILL CONVENE AT 5:30 P.M. MONDAY, MAY 12, 2003 AT THE NEDERLAND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION OFFICE, 1903 ATLANTA AVENUE, NEDERLAND, TEXAS, FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES:

1. CALL THE MEETING TO ORDER
    
2. APPROVE THE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
    
3. PUBLIC HEARING (5:30 P.M.)

   Conduct a public hearing for the purpose of receiving comments regarding the potential expenditure of funds for economic development incentives for Brian K. and Elizabeth A. McLain, doing business as Vacuum City.

4. VACUUM CITY

   Discuss and take action approving the expenditure of funds for Brian K. and Elizabeth A. McLain, doing business as Vacuum City.

5. PUBLIC HEARING (5:30 P.M.)

   Conduct a public hearing for the purpose of receiving comments regarding the potential expenditure of funds for economic development incentives for RHM Corporation, doing business as LaSuprema Tortilla Bakery.

6. LASUPREMA TORTILLA BAKERY

   Discuss and take action approving the expenditure of funds for RHM Corporation, doing business as LaSuprema Tortilla Bakery.

7. PUBLIC HEARING (5:30 P.M.)

   Conduct a public hearing for the purpose of receiving comments regarding the potential expenditure of funds for economic development incentives for Tri-Con, Inc.

8. TRI-CON, INC.

   Discuss and take action approving the expenditure of funds for Tri-Con, Inc.

9. FINANCIAL REPORT

   Review and discuss current financial status of the Nederland Economic Development Corporation.

10. UPDATES

    Review and discuss current projects.

11. EXECUTIVE SESSION

    The Board of Directors will announce that it will go into Executive Session, pursuant to Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, to discuss matters as specifically listed on the agenda.

    Discuss acquisition, exchange, and/or release of property.
     

    Economic Development Negotiations - Texas Government Code, Chapter 551.087

    
    Discuss the offer of an incentive to a business prospect.
     

12. RECONVENE

    Reconvene into regular session and consider action, if any, on items discussed in Executive Session.
